Kate Mayer x Reset Sauna

This curated selection of original abstract paintings from Kate Mayer’s Glow Up Collection is currently on display at Reset Sauna in Islington.

The works were created in response to a bespoke healing soundscape, using sound, movement and emotion as the starting point for colour, gesture and composition. Each painting holds the energy of the sound it was made with - translating rhythm, vibration and feeling into visual form.

The Glow Up Collection explores elevation, renewal and inner shift. These paintings were created to bring a sense of uplift and expansion into a space, making them a natural fit for Reset’s foyer - a place where visitors arrive, pause, recover and reconnect before or after sauna, cold plunge and breath work sessions.

Kate’s work is rooted in the belief that what we surround ourselves with can influence how we feel. Her sound-led abstract paintings are designed to be felt as much as seen, creating an energetic focal point within the spaces they inhabit.
