Art that means more
A great piece of art does more than complete a room. It can shape how that room feels. It can hold presence, memory, emotion and meaning.
When a painting is created around you, that connection becomes even more powerful.
This is not about choosing something off the wall.
It is about creating something deeply personal.
Something one of a kind.
Something that feels unmistakably yours.
A commissioned painting can become a personal anchor within your space - a work that reflects who you are, what matters to you, or the way you want to feel each time you see it.

A different kind of commission process
Most art is created from the artist’s own perspective and then collected by someone who feels drawn to it.
My commission process works differently.
This is a collaborative and intuitive experience centred around you. Together, we explore the feeling, energy or emotional quality you want the final piece to hold. That might be calm, joy, grounding, confidence, expansion, connection or possibility. It may relate to a meaningful piece of music, a memory, a turning point, or simply the atmosphere you want to create in your home.
The result is a painting that is not only visually striking, but deeply personal to live with.
Book A Call with Me
What it feels like to work with me
Commissioning a painting with me is a process of tuning in.
Through a series of conversations, I create a calm and supportive space for you to share as much or as little as you wish. You do not need to have the right words. You do not need to know exactly how you want the piece to look. You do not need to arrive with a visual brief.
My role is to listen deeply, ask the right questions, and translate what emerges into colour, gesture, composition and atmosphere.
Once I feel I have a strong sense of the energy and intention behind the piece, I begin painting. The final work is shaped not only by my artistic practice, but by the connection we build through the process.

Created around feeling, not formula
Some commissions begin with music - a song that carries memory, emotion or personal significance. Others begin with a desired feeling or shift: a wish to bring more lightness, focus, strength, peace or vitality into a space and into daily life.
In both cases, the process is about creating a painting that feels aligned on a deeper level.
You are not expected to design the artwork.
You do not need to choose colours or decide on composition.
That is where I come in.
I guide the visual outcome while staying true to the emotional essence of what we are creating together.
Who this is for?
This experience is for those who want more than decoration.
It is for people who want:
- a piece with real emotional connection
- artwork that reflects something meaningful
- a painting that shapes the atmosphere of a space
- something entirely one of a kind
- an experience that feels personal as well as creative
Each commission is approached with care, sensitivity and attention, making the process feel both considered and deeply individual.

The Result
The finished painting is created to do more than sit beautifully in a room.
It is there to hold meaning.
To evoke feeling.
To bring a particular energy into your space.
To become part of your everyday experience.
Every commission is unique, and every piece is created with the intention that it feels deeply connected to the person it was made for.
The commission journey

You get in touch through the enquiry form to share your interest, ideas, or simply the feeling you want the work to hold.

We arrange a conversation online or in person to explore the emotional direction of the piece, your space, and anything meaningful you would like the work to connect with.

I take what emerges from our conversation and begin translating it into the visual language of the painting.

The work is created in the studio, guided by the energy, intention and emotional quality we have defined together.

You receive a one-of-a-kind original painting created especially for you and your space.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you can't find the answer to your question below please feel free to contact me directly by email or the chat
Do I need to know exactly what I want the painting to look like?
No. In fact, many clients come to me with a feeling rather than a fixed visual idea. You do not need to know the colours, composition or style in advance. My role is to guide the visual outcome while staying true to the emotional essence of what we are creating together.
Who is the Co-creation suitable for?
This is the perfect experience for those looking to connect to themselves on a deeper level and create something truly unique and personal. I will guide you through every step of the process, providing a safe space for you to explore your feelings and desires. My aim is for you to have a painting that absolutely resonates with you, helping you to feel that desired emotion more fully and freely.
Can the commission begin with a song or piece of music?
Yes. Many commissions begin with a track that holds deep personal meaning. Music can be a powerful starting point for accessing memory, mood, emotion and energy, which then guide the painting.
What if I do not have a specific song in mind?
That is absolutely fine. A commission can also begin with a feeling, intention or atmosphere you want to bring more deeply into your life or home.
How involved am I in the process?
You are involved in the initial conversations which will influence the creative direction, but you do not need to manage the visual design of the piece. I take care of translating what we uncover into the painting itself.
Is this suitable if I want a piece for a specific room?
Yes. The space the work will live in is an important part of the process. I consider both the emotional intention behind the piece and the environment it is being created for. The feeling it brings to the room is what we'll focus on.
Do you offer international commissions?
Yes. I work with clients both in the UK and internationally. I have delivered commissions to clients in the USA, Canada, Hong Kong and Europe.
What sizes are available?
Commissions are available in a range of sizes. We can discuss the most suitable format and scale for your space during the consultation process. You'll probably have seen my personal work is often on circular boards - but I do work on square and rectanglar canvases too.
How long does the process take?
We will have an initial session together, either on Zoom or in person which lasts about an hour. I will then go and start your painting. On occasion we may need a further session before the painting is finished.
Timescales vary depending on the size, complexity and my current schedule. This will be discussed during the enquiry stage.
I'm not local, can I still do this?
Yes, absolutely. I have worked with collectors all over the world from Canada to Hong Kong. We can easily work over Zoom... it actually makes it easier for me as I can re-listen to the call as I paint.
How does delivery work?
Once the painting is dry and varnished we can discuss framing and delivery options. Framing is usually an additional cost depending on what you choose. I will make all arrangements for delivery which can be directly to you or to a framer local to you.
How much does a commission cost?
Investment begins at £3,000. Final pricing depends on the size, format and nature of the piece, as each commission is created as a one-of-a-kind original. Once we have discussed the right direction for your artwork, I will provide a clear quote.
