I Wait With Good Intentions

This piece was painted whilst I was fully immersed in 'Heaven' by Emeli Sandé, a song I discovered through choir in the early days after my divorce and the beginning of the journey of rediscovering myself. I find it an emotional song with a sense of awakening - it's hard to separate the vibration of the music from the emotion of the lyrics so this piece has the energy of both infused into every stroke and colour choice.
