These eleven original circular abstract paintings offer a balance between visual impact and versatility. At 30cm and 45cm in diameter, they have enough presence to transform the feeling of a space without requiring the commitment or wall area of a large-scale artwork.
Part of Kate Mayer’s Afterglow collection, each painting began with full immersion in music. Kate translated the emotion, energy and memories awakened by each song into expressive colour, layered surfaces and visible brush marks. The result is contemporary abstract art that offers more than decoration; every work carries its own story and emotional character.
The distinctive round format creates an engaging focal point and introduces a softer, more organic shape into an interior. These mid-sized abstract paintings work beautifully in bedrooms, hallways, home offices and living spaces, whether displayed alone, paired with another work or included within a considered art collection.
For collectors seeking colourful original art with meaning, each one-of-a-kind painting offers the opportunity to choose a work whose energy, story or musical inspiration feels personally significant.
